March 2015 - 56th Annual Dutchess County Science Fair

Some of our members judged Earth Sciences projects at the science fair, held March 21, 2015 at Dutchess Community College.  All honorees received certificates from the club and the top three place winners received a check.  Below are our honorees:

1st Place: Meghan Eagleton - "Soil Studies Using Microwave Radation"
2nd Place: Theodore DeGuzman - "Exploring My Backyard: The Wappinger Creek"
3rd Place: Baily Johnson - "Which Salt Melts Ice the Fastest"
Honorable Mention: Kaitlyn Piotrowski - "Got Carbon? Levels of Carbon Dioxide and Effect on Environment"
Honorable Mention: 
Armin Kermani - "Temperatures and Effect of Weathering Rates"

February 2015 - 59th Annual Wappingers Science Fair
