Mid-Hudson Valley Gem & Mineral Society, Inc. - About Us

Our "Vug" is our storage and rock shop. Frequently members, friends, or even strangers want to find a good place for their rock collections where they can be enjoyed by others. The Vug is our storage area for such donations. We use the material for our junior rockhound programs, for raffle and silent auctions, and for our lapidary members.

The Vug is open to club members only. Anything from rock specimens to lapidary or collecting equipment can be purchased at the Vug.

The Vug is open by appointment only. Please contact one of the board members (names and contact information listed on the back of the newsletter) to set up a time. The Vug is located in Poughkeepsie.
